Comment on 80s movies
Delphia@lemmy.world 9 months agoI had a movie idea a while back about a bunch of dudes in their 50s who decide to re-enact a bunch of their favorite movie scenes from old movies like that and realise half way through that what rhey are doing is actually a sex crime and then hilarity ensues as they try and get out of the situation without getting arrested.

It’s Always Sunny has an episode close to this. The one where they are at ski resort. I think those ski movies were from the 90’s though.

When I think of ski movie from that era, I think of Better Off Dead. Which I thought was a really good movie, which was 1985. I was too young at the time so I saw it later in the 90s.
Versus something like Karate Kid (which I think is OPs meme) which was terrible in comparison to Better Off Dead. I still think it’s a good movie and worth watching today.
