TheaoneAndOnly27@kbin.social 7 months agoGod it was so awkward, it must have been like 2011 because I was freshly 21. And it was at this local bar. And everybody greeted eachother by " the narwhal bacon's at midnight" and it was just fucking weird. For a while our local subreddit was running a monthly one and then it just kind of stopped.

Probably not. Old piece of Reddit history. Gist of it is there was a discussion on how to identify a redditor in real life, and the favorite response was saying that “the narwhal bacons at midnight”.
