  There is moss everywhere around here (UK), on pavements, paths, lawns.. Never mind in wooded and otherwise rural areas. Honestly it would seem harder to avoid occasionally walking on it..

      "Just walking" is as casual as it can get, and you can't "occasionally" walk on something without also just walking on it.

      You need a better user name, or a better hobby, either way, I'm out.
