Yep, we usually have an election the first or second Tuesday of every November. On the one hand it sucks that more of us don’t vote, but on the other hand I’d rather that people who get a ballot and just pick whatever name sounds better not do that

Nah, we have a public holiday for horse races. The Melbourne Cup. (not the American melbourne, the one pronounced “MELb’n” here in Oz).

Today is election day, but this year is only local elections, nothing national. My district actually has nothing.
