Third season is rough, the whole thing turned into a war on terror metaphor complete with justification for sacrificing your own morals because “damn it we have to, we’re facing an existential threat!”
Comment on Enterprise was a weird show.
PaupersSerenade@sh.itjust.works 1 year agoMan, I really need to watch Enterprise. If only that episode.

I was so hopeful when that was going on, that they were building up to a larger reveal. Like this was before they did any Mirror Universe episodes, so I was really hoping they’d do a thing where Crewman Daniels reveals that Archer’s moral compromises were leading up to that timeline, and they work together to set things right.
But instead they did space Nazis and revealed that humans in the mirror universe were always evil for no real reason.

I want to live in the timeline where you go back in time and tell brannon braga that.

TBQH, I like Enterprise quite a lot. It’s got a few true duds (‘Dear Doctor’) but for the most part its bad episodes are merely kind of boring, and it’s good episodes or moments are good. It doesn’t have a single episode that cracks my Best Trek Of All Time list, but I like hanging out with the crew and the ship.

I think Enterprise did have a couple episodes that make my list. I really liked the auto-repair station that stole a crew member. And the episode where Archer duels Shran
