When I was a child I was really obsessed with that damn battering ram just because of the Rankin & Bass film it appeared in.
I brought the VHS to my afterschool program to make my classmates watch it (a thing we took turns doing on Thursdays) but the run time was longer that the duration of the school program. I had to fast forward to the scene to make my classmates see Grond smash the gates of Minas Tyrith right before my mother picked me up to go home. It was a stressful few minutes.
