Local beans? Does it mean they don’t sell coffee in Canada and Europe?

p03locke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 day agoStarbucks uses local imports. The biggest problem is that they burn the shit out of the beans to normalize it down to the same flavor. So, the big appeal of using locally-sourced beans is wiped away by the way the need for a consistent “flavor”.
That’s why Starbucks coffee tastes like shit.

They have blonde roasts.
Wtf are you on about?
I personally love a good French roast.
You sound like my stupid cunt of a mom that does coffee enemas. Bitching about the flavor of coffee when her colon doesn’t even have taste buds. Wtf.

The pike roast is the only one that is halfway decent in a pinch. It’s their “light” roast.

ah, i didn’t know it had a name. I always go light or medium, just enough oat milk to change the color, and i’m happy enough at Sbux

Yeah, it’s not the worst, but it’s still shit compared to any other light roast. It’s good for Starbucks, but that’s a low bar. They often don’t even have it available.
