What is there to breach? You’re already exposing your your real identity when you post under your real name with this new requirement. As long as the methods for verifying your identity aren’t something scammers can exploit there is nothing to expose. If, for example, you could use your photo ID with everything but your pic and name covered, and maybe also birth year for age checks, all it does is remove the ability for people to be cunts with impunity.
I’d have to give it some more thought, but I’m not against this right away. The Internet has become a vile place. Maybe if you wouldn’t say something in public for everyone to hear, you shouldn’t post it either.

I’m banned from reddit from suggesting that Peter Thiels assets should be liquidated, the man turned to soup.
The most banal of opinions is now automatically being banned.

I got 1 bann for saying “the organisation system of the german trains needs to be burned down and rebuild a new on a clean slate” obviousely this is figure of speech. They saw it as call for terrorism.
And then another ban for saying “Sprich deutsch du hurensohn” which is/was an inside joke in ich-iel and only done there.

Ah, the Rule 1 violation. Mainly because they just pick the first thing as an excuse to ban.

I got a violation, a second one I think, a 3 day ban, at which point I abandon accounts and never log in again, 1 year back, for suggesting Musk be aboard one of his spaceships. That’s it. I guess in the context of them blowing up all the time it’s a call for violence, which is how they labelled it. I quit for a couple of months before starting another account, between them right now too, went through like 4 last year, while I took at least 4 months off.
