If I am not mistaken, you have to shoot tannerite to cause it to go off. So unless the owner in this case is shooting guns in their house it seems pretty likely this wont go off and harm them, but someone who’s likely to shoot an armed civilian for not putting their gun down.

  ICE is shooting unarmed civilians, so seeing Boris here would make their nuts shrivel like a booger on an Arizona Tarmac in the middle of summer, and the only way for them to regain their illusion of masculinity will be to shoot him, too.

    Pistols, that ICE has been using to muder innocent civilians, won’t set off tannerite. You need high velocity rifle rounds, typically .223 Rem and up.

  While tannerite does need that extreme concussion to go off, it is still more likely to hurt the person who set it up as this seems like a stand off tactic.
