    If you need to open your toilet lid to check anything, you’ve got other problems that need solving beyond lid up or down.

      So … you never need to use the toilet brush? Or you just leave that to the next one that opens the lid?

        I mean, I can see if I need the brush before I’ve flushed. Frankly, if I’ve taken a dump worthy of a brush, I can probably tell before I even stand up. Also, I clean the toilets in my household, so actually no I don’t leave it for the next person.
