Last time I ordered something off Amazon, I just needed a cheap rubbermaid box for storage. It arrived with a Switch 2 inside it.

dependencyinjection@discuss.tchncs.de 22 hours agoI’m honestly £5000-£10000 in profit from Amazon from all the times I ripped them off back when they were customer focused burning investor cash.
Not used them in a good five years now.

Last time I ordered something off of Amazon the delivery driver did not even attempt to deliver. On the 3rd day amazon sent me a notice saying “if we miss you again we are sending your order back” (This was a mission critical device that only sold on amazon at the time)
I watched the amazon delivery truck drive right past my fucking house without even fucking attempting to stop. I ran barefoot in the rain a block behind the van and asked them to deliver my fucking package.
They gave it to me, but I’m still fucking pissed about it.

The last time I ordered something off amazon, it came broken. It was a rather expensive monitor, and it came with a ton of dead pixels and a massive crack in the top corner, not to mention there was almost no protective anything inside the box, with the box having massive lettering and a picture of a monitor so if anyone had seen it it would have gotten immediately taken. Either way, when trying to return it, even though I returned it with plenty of time, the 3rd party through Amazon didn’t give me my money back nor did they give me a replacement. They charged my the same amount as the monitor for a “restocking fee” apparently. Going through Amazon support was near worthless, as I started a 2 month long war against them just to eventually get in store credit equivalent to the monitor price. Fucking scammers, both amazon and the third party, at least they took the page down so no one can get scammed by that one particular monitor again, the 3rd party is still allowed to sell things though.

UPS did that shit a lot where I used to live, and is why I always specifically asked for FedEx when possible, since FedEx here is actually not shit.
