I’ve been boycotting Nestle for DECADES and I don’t think they “feel the sting” from my actions.

Just delete your account and buy somewhere else. Easy.

Well, at least you have nothing to regret.

Buy direct or I buy from ebay for hobbyist stuff if I can’t get it directly but I won’t use paypal

Etsy has honestly become a terrible front for selling cheap overseas goods now. There’s no quality control at all, and no direct guardrails to ensure what you’re receiving isn’t just proxied junk from elsewhere.

I did that one year ago, and I don’t miss it. Amazon degraded to a marketplace of low quality Chinese crap anyway. It’s really easy to avoid

I did that in 2008 (IIRC) and never missed anything. I may spend a couple of bucks more by buying elsewhere or directly from smaller shops, but better like this than giving more money to the Evil Bald Guy.

And you can buy exactly the same Chinese crap direct from China much, much cheaper. Slower, yes, but Amazon’s getting to be a real expensive middleman and that speed is rarely worth it. Patience pays dividends.

Not without tariffs, sadly

Honestly, it’s mostly the returns process that I feel make Amazon a better place for “direct from china” stuff. I do a lot of electronics hobby work and I can buy the same part from Amazon, Ali Express, or direct from fly by night companies in China. The latter two are generally cheaper, but the quality tends to be more questionable at times and I can’t really “return it for my money back” like Amazon.
