actually, you can cure and boil eggplant foliage to brew a nicotine based pest spray.
though, you’re better off using tobacco instead.

They contain the mildly to moderately toxic alkaloid tomatine lol, you’re gonna become a medical case study if you smoke the leaves.
This is from wikipedia so take it witha grain of salt, but you’d have to ingest over half a kilogram to get toxic and not lethal doses so as long as you smoke the tomato leaves in moderation, test away!
