  What does even “conservative” mean for Americans? For Europeans it means you try to conserve things, or apparently being a moron.

    In North America, it means (traditionalist, nationalist) right-wing whereas liberal means left-leaning. Similar to European definitions

    Conservatism: Originally inspired by natural law and formed by the upper-class, conservative parties today are middle-class organisations that seek to preserve established traditions and the current status quo of a society. They normally advocate traditional values as authority, nation, religion, family, stability and continuity.     in america, “conservatives” will tell you that they want a return to “traditional values” even though that’s just barely the case in reality.

    what maga really wants:

    be racist/bigoted with complete impunity
    mandatory jesus
    own slaves again
    failing that, resegregation
    tradwife

    i’m definitely leaving things out, but you get the idea–pretty much the fantasy is to return to the 1950s

  As a PoC we kinda just go with the flow. Got a few scattered family members that support him for his regressive values but its very fee and far between. For white people j can only imagine, entire families must have had a schism put through them.

  I have repeated this story numerous times.

  After that tape came out, a conservative woman went on The View TV show to defend Trump.

  One of the panelists kept using the phrase ‘pussy.’

  The conservative woman asked her to please stop using that offensive term.
