“Assault” varies in definition by jurisdiction and circumstance. Pulling a conversation about sexual assault into the weeds is, frankly, a strange move, but go on with your bait.

Definitions predominant involve violence, physical force, or reasonable & immediate expectation of it. Not big on distorting ideas with loaded language: the bait was theirs.
