Taping a banana to a wall doesn’t use a ton of electricity and wasn’t created by someone stealing the tape, the banana or the wall. Is it an amazing bit of technical artistry? No. It is, however, interesting if nothing else and noteworthy enough for someone with no understanding of art to use as an example.
