Now I’m all for free expression and fuck oppression, however… I can safely say the NSFW part is the word ‘fisting’ on the mug. References to advanced sexual acts are simply far too vulgar for youngsters’ eyes. Imagine: a six year old in the era of questioning everything, recognising that the term’s meaning is unbeknownst to them and deciding to ask their parent. The abject horror of a parent coming face-to-face with the slightly awkward dilemma of blowing off the answer, lying or telling the truth. Because that is literally the worst that can happen if a child sees a word they don’t know the meaning to.
There’s a serious issue with Not Safe For Work tags being used to mean Not Safe For Children but that’s another argument entirely
