    Tech absolutism, capitalism meritocracy, the whole cult of men trying to out tough each other and worshipping the idea of unique individualism through shared identity of shittiness.

    I mean religion is a belief system of how the world works. Lots of people have a belief that doesn’t match reality in some way, but it’s a simpler option than meeting the world each time as unique for handling day to stuff. When you can have Faith® and just focus on your stuff and figure it will figure itself out cause something out there will do the saving.
