They really should. Wizards light themselves on fire a lot. More of them should be dedicated to the art of fireproofing themselves.
- Comment on Delta moves toward eliminating set prices in favor of AI that determines how much you personally will pay for a ticket 2 weeks ago:
The wealthy have more time to shop around and more money to choose another option so companies think they need to provide extra incentives to get them which means better treatment and prices and etcetera.
The poor? Ehh gouge for all they are worth and hope they die so you don’t have to hear them complain.
Which is insane cause that means the poor are the profit margins allowing for the deals of the wealthy. - Comment on shrooms 3 weeks ago:
It’s directly known that if you are taking an SSRI or an SSNRI basically fully blocks the effects of psilocybin and most other hallucinogenics.
Someone had once said it seemed like deep thinkers, it didn’t work on and I always wonder if it’s some combination of brain chemistry difference in ADHD or depression that makes it less effective in some others not even on them.
- Comment on Unless users take action, Android will let Gemini access third-party apps 3 weeks ago:
I mean there were no instructions up front because literally Google is refusing to give them, basically.
No more choice just the company force feeding the user and saying it’s good for them.Nowhere in the email or any of the Support pages did Google say how to remove all Gemini integrations from my phone.
I then emailed Google PR and… I asked if someone could provide actionable guidance for my readers who want to ensure Gemini integrations are completely disabled. Instead of answering the question, the person responding to my email wrote, in part: “This update is good for users: they can now use Gemini to complete daily tasks on their mobile devices like send messages, initiate phone calls, and set timers while Gemini Apps Activity is turned off. With Gemini Apps Activity turned off, their Gemini chats are not being reviewed or used to improve our AI models.”Literally that reads like you can’t turn it off and they just scrape less of your data on a technicality.

You are upset that people are alerting you to it being AI?
It’s ok to miss it, there are other people who maybe didn’t and share how they spotted it. I don’t get doubling down to demand that reality change cause you perceived it as some crusade. - Comment on Oatmeal 3 weeks ago:

Yeah. I am aware that it is a lot. Unfortunately having tried all ranges of products from chewing on penis envy to teas, I don’t think the sunlight is gonna make much of a difference.
But I will be more wary of the grey market bars for my friends that it works for. Thanks for the heads up!

Weird flex to call someone unrefined for how they draw a star.

You start with a straight line. It literally makes the most sense cause it decides the size of the star as well.

Yeah it’s awful to figure out what to do when the normal pain killers don’t work. Woke up during a surgery cause it lasted just long enough for them to get started.
but yeah if you have the enzymic issue I have increased dosages don’t help and doctors will question you over and over again as if we have more information about it. I don’t get how it works either but it seems to be genetic, most of my immediate family has it too.

Hmm that’s more than me. I don’t bother with coffee cause it literally just gives me palpations. Still sounds like a stimulant to me.
So must be something else than ADHD.
Thanks for answering! - Comment on shrooms 4 weeks ago:
Interesting that there seems to be a non insignificant amount of us.
Do you have any issues with other stuff like edibles or caffeine? Sorry if it feels like prying but a chance to find a correlary trend is just to fun to not take!
- Comment on shrooms 4 weeks ago:
Question: does caffeine work for you?
Cause now that I have more than just me as a poll, I’m allergic to benadryl, resistant to all anesthesia basically, and caffeine doesn’t make me hyper just speeds up my heart rate.
I think most of those I am alone in but maybe it’s brain chemistry from like depression or ADHD? - Comment on shrooms 4 weeks ago:
Yeah I got nauseous pretty bad the first time with straight shrooms but I also tried wrapping them in slices of deli turkey and cheese which I do not recommend unless you are a dog.
I absolutely get the urge to sleep that’s the 3rd time symptom I got.I figure my body will be a research oddity at some point cause I feel lots of drugs have the wrong interactions with me. Maybe it’s a digestion or processing issue with the mushroom fiber.
- Comment on shrooms 4 weeks ago:
Man I am so jealous of all the people having a good time with shrooms in here and not even cause I have bad trips but have basically no trip.
First time I took them I went for 3.5g and then ended up adding another 1.5g as I realized it wasn’t working. Second I made a 5g ginger tea. That was a bust. So third and last time I ended up doing a whole chocolate bar at 5g and then added about 2g of just straight shrooms… I had a single moment where I felt like I reached a truth about “now” and human inertia, as I just practically meditated. But otherwise I would say the experience was disappointingly sober.

Ok so I think I’m the first person in the comments to actually click to read the article, cause I’m gonna say something I’m not seeing.
How did you get it to auto snap to the article comment section?
Didnt realize you could share that and it wouldn’t default to the article. - Comment on "Sad thing to be, nonsensical thing to want to be" 💔🥀💔🥀 1 month ago:
Darn those extra lucky Irish.
In Fact it’s well known that they fought overwhelming on the north side of the US civil war because they knew which side was gonna win from their luck, and it had nothing to do with recognizing slavery as another form of the serfdom they just escaped from.

Yeah, but the Italians came with basically the rest of Eastern/southern Europe for work around that time and were just wrapped up in the generic anti-immigration zeitgeist and the Polish, Slavs, Greek, etc didn’t complain as much and didn’t even manage to turn a bedtime story about a creepy Italian dude into a story of how they secretly actually founded America first.
Though apparently up to like half of Italian immigrants were known to return home after they saved up enough money from US factory work. I think they just didn’t like being in the US.

LOL. Yeah. I remember one saying that they didn’t have any power to handle the comment sections and that I didn’t understand how hard it was just to have to delete bot comments, so it wasn’t their job to keep it civil.
Want the power and responsibility but why did it have to come with responsibility, right?
