Mickey7@lemmy.world 6 months agoThat’s an interesting fact. Never knew it. So they believe “god” came down in physical form and fucked her. Wonder what position he did her in? Was he romantic and did missionary or did he just bend her over.
My wife was born and raised Mormon and she did not know this, so it is not common knowledge. I had studied Mormonism a lot because I thought it was interesting. When I told her about this she freaked out and told me I was lying.
She went to her to dad, who was former bishop, and asked him. He confirmed it and her mother said, “isn’t it beautiful?” She was upset for awhile because she was molested as a child and the whole god having sex with his daughter didn’t sit well with her.
interesting story. The thing I have always loved about the Mormon’s is their deal about when you die you can become your own god and rule over your own planet. Sounds like fun. Too bad it’s all BS
Oh it is BS for sure. Some other interesting topics about them are blood atonement, mountain meadow massacre, Brigham Young (a real piece of work), divided heaven, fundamentalists, and seer stones to name a few. Way more interesting than your typical Christian religion.

Luke 1 says the Holy Spirit came on her, so I’m not sure how she got up the duff from that. Maybe she had to scoop up the holy jizz and shove it up herself.
