tetris11@feddit.uk 13 hours agoI think people just want a newer hybrid car, but the batteries for these bastards are so big that the only models that can support them are the chonker SUVs - so that’s what the car makers put out, further fuelled by the US’s lower restrictions on light trucks.
I live in the hope that once the UK goes fully electric, smaller models will start being offered by car makers.

Hmm true. Prius seems cheaper too. Perhaps people suck then, yes
