Aeao@lemmy.world 4 days agoI prefer a prestige mode. Once you hit one billion you get all your money and assets stripped away and you start from square one again. But you get a cool star by your name for every time you reset and start again.
It’s mandatory.
So your choices are start donating a lot of money when you’re at 900 million or to hold it of or enjoy the cool star by your name and lift yourself up by you’re bootstraps once more.

We’d have to adjust it with inflation. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to have 10 million but it doesn’t go as far as it used to. I could see capping it at 100 mil tho
Of course the idea is extremely oversimplified, and yes, you’d need to adjust for inflation
And no, 100 million is way too much. Everyone can already today live quite comfortably with a net worth of 10 million. In a world where there is no such thing as student debt, medical debt, etc, one would need way way less to be comfortable.
100 mil isn’t too much. Cancer can wipe out ten mil.
