I sometimes get apoplectic when I realize that we might not ever get another book from a favorite author. I have been dying, for years, for a new Erin Morgenstern novel (author of The Night Circus, and The Starless Sea). She kept saying that she was working on something, but it's been seven years. My hope isn't gone, but it's fading. I hope this will be a Scott Hawkins situation where we find out there's a new book, after ten years of no novels (though he did write some computer programming books during that time).
