Why doesn’t the journalist ask “in what way does this impact your freedom of religion” and then stand there while they tie themselves in knots trying to answer the question.

Judy Crook, who runs the bookshop, told the Guardian that, though as “a point of basic Christian belief, we welcome everybody”, they did not want to promote homosexuality and “we’re not happy with the gay rights situation”.
“We have to respect other people’s views. But we didn’t want the flag flying outside our shop.”
She even admits it’s not Christianity saying to hate LGBTQ folk. She’s just a bigot.

It’s not a recruitment drive. Looking at a rainbow flag doesn’t make you become gay.

Sounds like the Alcoholic’s Anonymous loophole will work, you just need to decide your higher power is a doorknob or whatever.

Presumably IRL they live in a fairly secular, non theocratic society, so perhaps its their chance to start a virtual cult. Strange that they’re non specific about this higher being. Guess I could bring one of my equally fictitious higher beings on one of their fictitious raids.

I thought Christian didn’t like world of Warcraft because it promoted demons or something.

We have to respect other people’s views, except we don’t want to, also we welcome everybody but don’t want them to have rights.
