Comment on I've got one more (short) horror book to read before Halloween. Have you
MargaretSefton@writing.exchange 7 hours ago @kimlockhartga @templetongate @bookstodon She's a very powerful writer. I want to read more of her work. It set me on a course of reading more Argentinian/South American female writers in general--Samantha Schweblin, Silvina OCampo. I just purchased Maria Ampuero's Human Sacrifices (Ecuador).
@MargaretSefton @templetongate @bookstodon You are speaking my language. I love me some Samanta Schweblin, but her style is very unusual, so people are either hot or cold about her work. Mouthful of Birds was amazing!
@kimlockhartga @templetongate @bookstodon I liked Good and Evil and Other Stories as well as Seven Empty Houses--my fave.
@MargaretSefton @templetongate @bookstodon I need to read those!
