I just walk past anytime they ask me for my receipt. The store has their own copies of the receipt. Use that before you harass me.

I like to give them different store receipts while I walk by. They sometimes give me sas about being one of those people but I’m with you 100%. You literally just watched me pay at the self checkout and you’re still going to accuse me of theft on my way out. Fuck you Seattle Safeway

Then dont shop there if you don’t like the practices of a store? Bob at the door is not trying to dick you around, he’s just doing his job.
You have no obligation to follow store rules, most rules of etiquette, people’s house rules, etc. but it sure makes you look like an entitled Karen if you go into a situation expecting to do it.
