Good pun, but i can’t help myself:

en.wiktionary.org/wiki/اسلام_آباد#Urdu

اسلام اباد in urdu, literally translates to “Islamic area”

The اسلام (Isla:m) part comes from… the arabic word, duh lol

The اباد (a:ba:d) part comes from the PIE root *peh₂-, descending from middle/classical persian and then urdu.

The root just means “to protect, ward or shepherd” which leaves a lot of room for interpretation. The persian words mean thriving/populous (so does urdu).

There are also many derived (and recognized) words from it: en.wiktionary.org/wiki/…/peh₂-#Derived_terms Is pretty interesting to look at.

Do not it’s not like i really know too much of what i’m talking about, i just love this stuff.
