      Lemmy is not an anonymous community, it’s pseudonymous. It also doesn’t take a literary genius, merely someone with a healthy amount of empathy, to understand that treating someone with hatred for an immutable characteristic is bigoted and wrong. I don’t believe that to be an outrageous opinion.

      Perhaps it is you that is mediocre and petty.

    Anonymous criticism is lhe least effort contribution to the conversation. Playing your part in the outrage mob takes the leat intelligence, the least inspiration. So when you do that, when you shout in chorus with the rest of the mob like that, you show yourself to be very very small. Like a crawling worm.

    And when you get out there and put the best youve got into a piece of art that blows the minds of an entire generation, you show yourself to be very very large. Like a soaring eagle.

    And for a worm to criticise an eagle is absurd.
