You’re going to need some evidence that that’s the case because my understanding is that Valve had been working on the steam deck for a while.
Hell the steam deck isn’t even the handheld gaming computer, and the switch came out after the first handhelds, so even if Valve were influenced by the existence of the switch (which they weren’t), we would have still got the steam deck via other mechanisms.
