I’ve only seen mushrooms like this in sci-fi. They’re usually bigger tho.

I’ve only seen mushrooms like this in sci-fi. They’re usually bigger tho.
When I was a kid we would go hiking in a creek bed that ran inbetween all the houses. One day I came upon some little bulbous mushrooms like this that were growing out of a huge downed tree. When you poked one super gently with a stick, it would explode a cloud of green spores out of it. Weirdest shit I ever found, and I never saw them again. I would have sworn it was like the flood from halo or something
