@*_jߍyrope I don't know cPanel in detail, but I think you can do many of the usual admin tasks there. So nothing against that.

Cpanel and Plesk are proprietary system with expensive licenses but the systems are wildly sprat an used... are there any open source systems around for that kind of tasks ?

You're right about the expensive licenses. But if we write a plugin for some of the admin desk programs, we still need acceptance for installation by the hosters. Here I see some dark clouds.
