Same dev then, Funcom

Ditto (but 2077 instead, haha). I’ve had no issues, except I wish it’d be possible to export the mod collection and reimport on a different device - eg going from desktop to Steam Deck and vice versa, which I’ve had to do manually.

Thanks, those sound great!
Yeah, I also wish there were more mystery/detective series out there, but haven’t found that many so far. - Comment on Looking for recommendations 1 week ago:
I’m pretty sure I read Fullmetal Alchemist 15 or so years ago, but I don’t remember the story well at all.
I’ve seen Avatar the Last Airbender mentioned countless times, but never took a look at it, I’ll check it out! - Comment on Looking for recommendations 1 week ago:
I actually have the game on my wishlist, I don’t know whether the anime and the game are one and the same?

- Comment on 8BitDo no longer shipping to US from China due to Trump tariffs 2 weeks ago:
Nope, 8bitdo (via their eshop) ships directly from China to Canada, alongside a number of other countries.
The change is only wrt shipping to US. - Comment on Ubisoft patch Splinter Cell Blacklist after 12 years to add achievements 2 weeks ago:
Not exactly, you need Steam to install it, but then per PCGW’s wiki:
DRM-free when launched directly via <path-to-game>\SwGame\Binaries\Win64\SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe while EA app is not installed.
- Comment on Ubisoft patch Splinter Cell Blacklist after 12 years to add achievements 2 weeks ago:
I can’t confirm for Steam, since I only have the game on EA app, but the game’s wiki page on PCGW shows the same DRM-free info (with correct launch steps).
- Comment on Ubisoft patch Splinter Cell Blacklist after 12 years to add achievements 2 weeks ago:
You’re right, they do - this Steam DRM-free games list shows Jedi Fallen Order is the most recent DRM-free EA published game on Steam afaict.
Same goes for DRM-free games on the EA app. - Comment on Steam Deck / Gaming News #10 4 weeks ago:
As enjoyable as ever to read!
I think you might have missed the link to Nightdive Studios’ future endeavours? Or Voyager is not showing it at least. - Comment on Hot take: Get your game reviews from gamers, not from collectors 5 weeks ago:
I guess, by some standards, I could be qualified as a collector - I buy games for OG hardware before playing them.
However, and I don’t believe I’m the only “collector” doing this, if a game is bad, didn’t age well, etc, I will definitely say so and likely would sell said game if I’ve no interest in playing it again.Sure, there are collectors who don’t play games at all and review based on price, if that, but I know there are also people who do it like I do.
- Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 5 weeks ago:
Yep, thanks - so far I’ve avoided any guides and went in completely blind, I’m starting to explore the map again for what I might have missed.
spoiler
I’ve been trying to beat the Mantis Lords for a while, but I feel like there’s some other place I might be able to go for now - I think I haven’t fully explored the City of Tears yet, but got my first nail upgrade

I’m still playing Divinity: Original Sin II.
I also picked up Hollow Knight recently and I’m making progress, albeit painfully sometimes haha. - Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 1 month ago:
I’m slowly continuing my playthrough of Divinity: Original Sin II and absolutely loving it.
I also recently bought Stardew Valley, finally, and started playing it a bit.
Last one, Mushihimesama as the c/shmups Game of the Month. - Comment on Steam Deck / Gaming News #8 1 month ago:
Voyager works perfectly fwiw

- Castlevania: SOTN
- 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
I didn’t think I’d enjoy SOTN so much, as I tend to have mixed feelings towards metroidvanias, but it delivers in many areas - I’d say it’s too easy, but then again it’s a matter of adjusting your equipment to make it more difficult.
I’m attempting another playthrough of 13 Sentinels, I’m not sure why I bounced off of it a couple years ago but I’ve been getting into “gameplay-lite” games lately with great results.
- Comment on What's your favorite Pokémon Game? 1 month ago:
Ruby and Sapphire, 100% because of nostalgia as I haven’t played either in 20+ years - those were the last games my grandpa gifted me so they hold tremendous sentimental value.
Gold and Silver would be close seconds, since my sister and I played those games when growing up and I have great memories from back then. - Comment on Are modern Final Fantasy games bad? 2 months ago:
No?
Realistically, as you mentioned with FF XIV ARR now being a classic but also being a pain to get into is true for any other older FF, many people simply have rose tinted glasses to keep them from seeing all the flaws present in those prior entries.
I also started with FF VII, but 25 years after its release, and let me tell you that it did not age well (at all) imo.Had I not picked up FF XVI, I probably wouldn’t have given the series another chance.
I now player both FF VII remakes to date and absolutely loved them, especially Rebirth, and am going through FF VI, which I also think is a masterpiece tbh.
FF IV didn’t work out for me, but that’s fine. All that to say, video game series evolve, ARPGs have been quite popular for a while and FF went that route - for now. That doesn’t make for bad games, and the series will keep evolving.
- Comment on What's the game you play when nothing else sounds good? 4 months ago:
Shmups. Not any one in particular, although ESP Ra.De. or DDP DaiOuJou often tend to be top of my list.
Otherwise, Streets of Rage 2 or TMNT: Turtles in Time.
