Interesting project. Not sure who would prefer this over the web UI, but whatever.

I hope so, because season 4 was absolute dog shit with those unwatchable “theme” episodes

They were, but they had been out of contact at that point for nearly a century. This episode sets itself up as a prequel to the TOS episode “balance of terror“

There was a final line to pike, I can’t quite remember it, that included the word “terror“, that I read as a definite reference to the TOS episode “balance of terror“

Wow… How about fuck no?

The pointy masks that doctors wore looked that way because they would stuff them full of bouquets of flowers and herbs to cover the stench of the pestilent flesh and rotting corpses of the dying and dead all around them. It was not an aesthetic choice.

I love this game. There’s a surprising amount of fun, and you can play it on almost any platform.

I get where you’re coming from with the “give it chance” vibe, but the writing for STA was so shockingly bad right out of the gate, so directionless, weird, and scattershot, I don’t think giving it more time would be doing anyone any favors.

And now, knowing that they produced seasons 1 and 2 back to back, we’d have to endure an entire season 2 of this before we saw any improvement.
