Completely agree. The closest they came to a decent episode was the kirk-centred TOS-themed episode. Foolishly, I thought that they’d pulled out of the nosedive… but we had more fairytale nonsense and space baby.

And yet presented cartoonishly without any of the sixties psychedelic surrealism. Plus, generally episodes like The Savage Curtain are widey derided as being among the worst TOS episodes. For me they have a quirky charm (but willing to accept that’s just nostalgia at work and they were just shit). I also wouldn’t be so grumpy about this if Once La’An a Time was the only silly episode this season. Unfortunately…

They need to transport the entire writing team to the surface of the sun, or nearest star.
Being physically unable to watch something seems like a medical concern. Might be worth looking into.
