- Comment on CVE Board members launch the CVE Foundation, a dedicated, non-profit to continue identifying vulnerabilities, after the US ended its contract with Mitre 2 weeks ago:
Do Americana really think everything needs to be run as a company and for profit?
Unfortunately, many do. It’s fuck’n baffling as to why.
I still can’t comprehend that Americans voted that idiot into White House.
Well Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran (to name a few) with the assistance tech-bro billionaires like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have been waging an information war against the US for well over a decade. All that time, money and effort is finally paying off.
- Comment on Bluesky has started honoring takedown requests from Turkish government 2 weeks ago:
Ya, the marketing blitz here and on Reddit was nuts. Thankfully the PR-bullshit has calmed down some.
- Comment on How likely is it that Trump will be the first President assassinated since Kennedy? 3 weeks ago:
Let’s see how his mouth-breathing paint-eating constituency acts when this fat fuck is dead. Probably no different, but maybe.
Trump and the media have built a cult of personality around Trump. I don’t see how that power could transfer to another person, I can’t think of another person in the line up that has personality.
- Comment on LAN (local area network) games 1 month ago:
Stronghold, Stronghold: Crusader, Stronghold: legends and Stronghold 2 are all excellent for LAN games.
No clue if Stronghold 3 or Stronghold: Warlords support LAN.
Also I like to remark that Stronghold: Kingdoms is free-to-play pay-to-win trash avoid it.
- Comment on US appeals court rejects copyrights for AI-generated art lacking 'human' creator 1 month ago:
Why does Thaler want to assign copyright to a non-human so badly, when he could simply take the credit himself?
wired.com/…/the-inventor-behind-a-rush-of-ai-copy…
Article tag line: “Stephen Thaler’s series of high-profile copyright cases has made headlines worldwide. He’s done it to demonstrate his AI is capable of independent thought.”
imo, 10 bucks says Thaler is doing this so he can sell his AI construct as “you can copyright DABUS’s output”.
- Comment on Reddit will warn users who repeatedly upvote banned content 1 month ago:
I think the real implication of the system is that Reddit will also start banning you for down-voting posts too.
- Comment on Scientists move to Bluesky, transitioning away from X and Meta platforms 2 months ago:
I’d reckon that managing a social media server is more involved than just using social media.
- Comment on ‘The tyranny of apps’: those without smartphones are unfairly penalised, say campaigners 2 months ago:
Even if they don’t outright cripple functionality, they’ll hound you endlessly to install the app.
Still don’t understand the logic of doing that.
It’s like saying,
“Our website is nigh unusable, please install our app instead. We pinky promise our app works”.
- Comment on No good excuse to still be on Xitter 2 months ago:
I love that over on Reddit most of the content is still coming from Xitter. The only change is that they aren’t posting direct links crediting the person who made it.
What a half-ass way to boycott a site.

Better hope he doesn’t add bleach to vaccine
My life has improved so much since I embraced a so called ‘evil,’ and ‘destructive’ brain worm. Libs preach unity, but can’t understand the power of many minds united into one. Sad!
