Same.
Not to mention that the 0-100 range thingy really depends on local conditions. I mean, depending on where you live, there are parts of the scale you’ll never use.
I’ve never in my entire life lived in a place where the lowest temp got anything close to 0°F.
My range of values is more -5°C - 45°C, or 23F - 113F.
23F for me is already fucking cold, and 100F is nowhere near fucking hot anymore (thank the entire humanity for climate change).
So whichever scale, for me they’re still just a bunch of numbers. But at least Celsius is used in “science, bitch!”

Well that’s funny, I’m typing this from the newly installed Connect app, since on Liftoff I couldn’t find an easy way to block an entire community.
Yeah, I changed the app I use just to finally get rid of Star Trek stuff from my feed.

Huh?
return number % 2 == 0
That’s the only sane solution.
- Comment on Heat pumps can't take the cold? Nordics debunk the myth 1 year ago:
2600 is dirt cheap even by Euro standards, trust me.
Here in Italy a single room split would cost you around 1k to 2.5-3k depending on the brand.
A whole house system you’re probably looking at 10k and then some.

For me it was StarCraft / Broodwar, Warcraft (when it still was a RTS) and Caesar III.

Reminds me of my first desktop PC.
Intel Pentium II 266Mhz, 64MB of RAM, 2.99GB HDD.
Of course a 3.5" floppy drive was also included, and a CD-R Reader.
I had to purchase a 33.6k modem separately, tho.
- Comment on What android phones do you recommend and why? 1 year ago:
Get a Pixel.
It just works
For real tho…
- Comment on Pfizer says it will price Covid treatment Paxlovid at nearly $1,400 for a five-day course, which researchers estimate only costs Pfizer $13 to produce. That's a 10,000%+ markup. Shameful. 1 year ago:
13$ to produce including all the R&D behind it?
I’m not a fan of big pharma, quite the contrary, but I’d be curious to know where this number comes from…
- Comment on Living to 120 is becoming an imaginable prospect 1 year ago:
Sorry, but if one can dream of properly taxing companies and rich individuals, there’s plenty of other shit to fix with that money first.
Making living until 120 sustainable is not on the list, or very, very low on it.
- Comment on What do you think of framework and their methods? 1 year ago:
Probably not native. In Italian we also say “autonomia” to indicate battery life or distance you can still cover with the fuel in your tank.

Technically, nowhere it says she woke OP up.
She just remembered how important this was to OP to the point of either waking OP up and let take a pic, or take a pic on her own.
We will never know…

- Comment on Why are people hyped about RSS regaining relevance? 1 year ago:
Inoreader for me
Couldn’t live without RSS, they’re literally my #1 source of info/news/updates.
It’s a no fuss that works so well, I don’t understand why anyone would prefer a Google feed or any other social media feed to get their updates.
I’m in full control of the sources, no shady content pushed to me from other sources just for ad revenues.

Never had any hope for that. Humanity is what it is, shitty folks are everywhere, it’s statistics.
- Comment on Can I faraday cage my ISP-issued router in order to use my own? 1 year ago:
Buy new router, connect via Ethernet, disable ISP’s router Wifi to avoid radio interference, share wifi access to family member.
Set QoS rules on your new router to get a higher priority/bandwidth for YOUR devices.

Neunante always struck me as a bit weird (although much better than the math thingy).
Neuvante would seem a more reasonable derivation from neuf.
Would also make it closer to other latin languages like Italian and Spanish.

Just to state the obvious for the less tech-literate out there: an open source one could do the same.
It’s just very easy for anyone to find out by inspecting the code, that’s why no developer in their right mind would pull such a move.

Tbh the infotainment is kinda glitchy when reversing, but never to the point of completely crashing.
That pain with capacitive buttons is real tho.
