Fun Fact: The reason why they had to use hydrogen was we (the US) clocked them as an enemy prior and refused to sell helium to them. Sound familiar?

Its a strategic asset, the reason why it was stockpiled was for rocketry (nobel gas/low boiling point). So handing it to your enemy doesnt make a lot of sense to further their endeavors imo

Where did they get the helium? We need to embargo it as the US has the single largest strategic supply of helium on the planet.

I worked for a “99.999%” up time facility. No one talks about the exceptions that don’t effect that number. Some are out of our hands like weather or a knob w/ a backhoe.

Or even more insane is if the house was to draw power from a 15amp line. Never tested a breaker in reverse, I assume it will pop but drawing 100 amps+ on a 15 amp line would be a recipe for disaster…

I had one house that had a 600 amp mains. Guy who owned it prior was a welder, fucking insane breaker cabinet!

In my limited world I would want to put in an ATS/hard breaker so I can power the essentials w/o killing lineman. Kill (open) the main breaker, close the alternate breaker and your gtg off a sub panel.

They will ban on safety, you can back feed the grid and kill lineman with these systems. You need an ATS or otherwise its a real issue.

Plug in batteries, let kill line workers while they try to get your power back on. Like those nubs that have a genset and no ATS/isolation.

Worse the batteries don’t make sound like a genset. 18hr shift, hungry, don’t sniff the line and now a lineman is dead. All so you could keep the refrigerator cold… If you have a power bank/genset learn to throw the main breaker not to back feed the utility.

Total bonus this time of year! I’m in rural northern Virginia and thats a nice haul considering its mid summer.

I’ll go out this week and hit my buddies farm and see what I can find. It has cooled off here so I might get more than chanterelles and maybe chicken but not holding my breath.

If you’re near me I’ll loan you the gig, the end mills,and support to make an AR lower in about 2 hours.

It won’t be accurate or be a long baller w/o a lathe to make a rifled barrel. Not that you couldn’t mke a barrel with hand tools, it just would be very difficult.

And like others have said, only the lower receiver is the controlled item. You goto Brownels and can buy 98% of an AR w/o a background check.

I think at this point it easier to list what isn’t illegal in California.
