Yes, but also factor in information in the mechanic space has no FOSS comparison. Some companies put out their official service manuals after a period of time but most charge your company out the ass to let you view everything in some proprietary walled garden. Troubleshooting a mechanical fault can be very similar to troubleshooting code or software, and sometimes it literally is a vehicle’s software, and out comes a laptop.
“What field am I in, again?”

Won’t work and if it does work, the resulting image has little to nothing to do with the original.

Indubidubly, and a cherry on top. Not only is Pi-hole an Adblocking DNS server, it’s also a DNS server and solves any issue with name resolution at the door for your services.
dns certs? Pihole’s got you.

I’m a mechanic.
This is both my reason and explanation lol.
I do my own work has been said to be taken a bit too literally in my case. I got ripped off by Geek Squad when I was 18 and said “wow, it’s just like getting ripped off at a shitty mechanic shop” and ever since then it’s been all hands-on.

Secure boot is supposed to continue your reliance on proprietary software, any security it tacks on is unintentional.

No, they don’t. It either shouldn’t exist or should be broken up.

- Comment on How to Use Local IP for Services when at Home? 1 week ago:
My Setup:
OpenWRT Router: wireguard server
NAS: DNS Server - pihole
VPS: Client - Endpoint 10.1.99.0/24, 192.168.2.0/24
Phone: Client - Endpoint 0.0.0.0/0, ::/0
10.1.99.0 clients can talk to 192.168.2.0 clients and back and forth. The NAS can talk to anyone, anyone can talk to the NAS. Any new client can talk to anything.
They all use the NAS for DNS, so they all resolve hostnames and domain names.

XMPP + Mumble is a common one. The room is on XMPP, some users are in a mumble server with info in the topic.
Matrix is buggy and doesn’t scale imo, it isn’t a sustainable alternative. Stoat looks like a great option and there are lots of open instances.
