I just don't bother reviewing that much, as much as it annoys me not to because I want to try and be helpful. Like, there's no safe space for you to go to, to review your workplace. Other places, when reviewing products, only care to read 4 and 5 star reviews but never the lower ones even if they were constructive.
But I find reviewing workplaces the hardest because, apparently you can be fired if someone connects the dots and find out you work for them to want to fire you over it.

Marketers and Advertisers don't respect you, though. Why respect anybody who just doesn't respect you? People are just going to act shitty or have potential to be shitty anyways even if you respected them, that's just how some of it goes.
I don't respect anybody who feel they're entitled to my time and sometimes, money.
- Comment on Do air purifiers really reduce dust much? 6 hours ago:
Dust is pretty inescapable. Dust can even be from dead skin off of you. You're always surrounded by particles in the air, some you can see, some you can't see. The air is almost never 100% clean. But that doesn't mean that upkeeping cleanliness and seeking things like humidifiers, filters for A/C-Heater-Furnace is all for naught. They will help and keeping a light schedule as to how much you clean helps too.
I know, dust really sucks and can give you the feeling of 'why bother' when it's just going to come back and collect layers in a matter of time. But, you can at least slow it down.

There is nothing influencing my opinion and thought process about how I feel about you this instant.
Your method, would upset and destroy lifelines whose jobs are tied to the stores that your big-deal idealistic and immature "plan" would invoke on. It is poorly thought out, outright stupid and details how out of touch you are with reality. Go ahead, I lobbed you an easy smart-ass retort where you can tell me "but whuh abut ur violent fantasy and u tuld me im out of touch?". Gave it to you.
You're a fucking idiot, through and through. Spoken like a true dumbass Redditor who pretends they're not a Redditor. Tell me, is Lemmy really Lemmy anymore or just simply another Reddit faucet containing social rejects like you?

Pray tell I never run into someone like you if you ever come to the store I work at to do any or all of those things. I will make your death slow and painful. I will restrain you to a shopping cart and I will pay a trip to the hardware section so I can test the effects that each tool will have on your body. Then, we'll pay a visit to the chemicals section and I'll happily have you sample each chemical I've always wondered in how it'd taste but you'd be my test subject for that. Then we'll pay a visit to the automotive section for more experimenting, where you'll probably face more painful tortures, before I unceremoniously dump you into a baler and happily turn the key to crush you.
And when people ask me as I am arrested for the obvious murder, I'll point them exactly to this post of yours. While saying "this is the dumbfuck who thought they knew how to start a revolution".
- Comment on What's a recent game you've tried playing that isn't worth the hype? 20 hours ago:
I love the fuck out of dark fantasy. The problem is that while souls-games and Elden Ring, are drenched with dark fantasy elements, the game execution itself just didn't appeal to me at all. I just don't like the idea of tediousness mixed with a scale of difficulty where all and any progress of mine are just dashed because a slight misstep.

I don't know how I managed to have gone through the game as long as I have. I got it for free when it was a giveaway on Epic. I feel that's exactly the right price because really, it's just an almost do-nothing but move slightly and just pick options kind of game. Got boring fast.
It started being really ridiculous when I got one character, a skeleton that threw bones, up to the point where all I see were just numbers, gems and other flying things from the abilities I picked. It just got comically stupid but still boring at the same time.
This game's entire premise, was that it's supposed to give you feel-good moments without having spending money like you normally would on mobile games. It behaves like a mobile game without MTX. But I think its problem is that it retains the other problems that mobile gaming has than just MTX, such as time-wasting, cheating you of your dopamine and all that.

I'm sorry but this answer right here is why they win.
Sure, you may not know them personally, but they're getting to know you more than you're knowing yourself. Enough to specifically push and market products specifically and particularly at you.
Yes they usually are personally responsible and they aren't always on the bottom. They make $56 ~ $161k a year, entry to senior. They're just above the grind.
That's nothing new because that's applicable to any job, not just marketing.
