You’re misrepresenting the problem though, it’s not about maximising efficiency of an area, but packing the targeted amount of squares inside the smallest square, who’s side lengths are some multiple of the packed squares.
If you posted this under OP then I would agree with you, obviously this is bad efficiency for the waffle for the purposes of syrup filled in holes, but for the definitions of the problem the person you replied to is correct in their explanation.

I asked my father for his thoughts on the situation, and he talked about how the Venezuelans could go back home to visit their families and that they were very excited. I sent him the Lemmy post from the Venezuelan that we all probably saw, and explained that there is a lot that is still unclear and how the US’s actions are very similar to the ones he’s seen throughout his life, especially post 9/11.
You make a great point, I do think we can see communities as a monoculture sometimes, or that they are at least portrayed like that in the media (undocumented=illegal criminal/gang member) which is just blatantly false.

I think that’s a fair critism, but also it’s not like people get a dlc buying addiction. It’s not necessarily predatory (although it could be if the base game was incomplete and needed to be fixed by DLCs) like gambling is
