If the PS5 could be booted to a decent Linux desktop, I’d buy one to play with it. A good OS with a fun form factor.
Otherwise, don’t buy consoles.
- Comment on Article: I switched to eSIM in 2025, and I am full of regret 2 weeks ago:
I think it’s just highlighted by someone doing it regularly, it’ll happen the same % of times when someone else does it, maybe more since they don’t know the process.
I also don’t know how many people change phones in a store, I never have, but I’m not average. And even then, maybe a carrier store can help you, but I doubt the generic shop or branded supermarket can offer much support for an issue with a carrier.

And for people that don’t want proprietary carrier apps on there phone? Don’t have WiFi, so you can’t download the virtual sim? On a OS that isn’t Google or Apple?

As of October 2025, this project has been archived and is no longer maintained.
After many years of development and community contributions, maintenance on this repository has ended. The source code remains available for reference and for anyone who wishes to continue development in their own fork.

I think everyone should return things when there is weird tos to use something. It costs the company as they’ll have to sell the product as ‘used’, and it informs them that people don’t actually agree, we are just coerced into it.

Power Companies Are Using AI To Build Nuclear Power Plants
They missed “justify” from the title, right? Not enough space on the newspaper. They must mean “Power Companies Are Using AI To [Justify] Build[ing new] Nuclear Power Plants”. We’ll be left with a real assist, that sounds good.
want to use AI to speed up the construction of new nuclear power plants
We’re all fucked

All these sites monitor engagement, they walk the line between maximum ads and users. If we decrease the users, they’ll decrease the ads to try and keep us.

- Comment on Google will require developer verification for Android apps outside the Play Store 4 months ago:
I doubt its about a few dollars from developers. They'll say it's about contacting devepers. But I think it's really about control over who can publish apps, force them to agree to weird T&Cs and allow Google to exclude people.

No you can't, PayPal made Valve remove them. Not remove the PayPal option for those specific titles.
