  I mean sure but just like with movies, the rights dont change hands very often, even if they’re not being actively used or the rights holder goes out of business. This means a ton of promising franchises either suffer by getting terrible sequels or no sequels at all.

  Thats literally exactly what it is. They aren’t derived from the metric system like all units in the system, theyre a specialized edge case where a conversion was specifically written in because america sucks. There are no other conversions in the metric system, units are derived from constants based on a set of specific rules that the pound and yard do not adhere to.

  I mean other humans already do this. Satellites are staring at you 24/7, even when youre inside they can theoretically track you with infrared/disruptions to the wifi signal or other epectromagnetic signals, or even using sound waves. I doubt they have the processing power yet to watch everyone all the time but its a safe bet that there are certain humans under constant surveillance by somebody.

  What point are you trying to make? You say you’re “all for calling this kind of fuckery out” but then you’re criticizing people for calling it out? And who cares what other EULAs might say? The point is that the license agreement for this game and others owned by this company didn’t say this shit before, and now they do. The company is actively making their user agreement more hostile to the users which is what people are pissed about.

  Im almost positive they did, i had one in my core 2 quadro machine iirc, but it was 7200rpm not 5400.
