You’re confusing conservatism with conservationism.
- Comment on It's official, a new era is upon us for !conservative@lemmy.world! 1 week ago:
Glad there’s a modlog so we can keep track of all the censorship that goes on.
/r/conservative was an absolute censorship hellhole. It’s clear they censored anything that challenged their narrative because they knew a lot of what they were spewing was bullshit.
Shouldn’t be as much of a problem here.

We got a little bit of revenge on the zionist diplomats, but there’s still a long way to go before justice is served.
- Comment on Kneecap member charged with terror offence 1 week ago:
“Terrorism” is code for “they fought back against us without spending comparable amounts of money.”

It’s not intrinsically bad unless you intrinsically support those with the most power.

Freedom of speech is important.

Good job enriching the business.

This is why useful idiots are the norm.
- Comment on Duolingo CEO says AI is a better teacher than humans—but schools will exist ‘because you still need childcare’ 1 week ago:
Rather than acknowledge you got ripped off and learn from your mistakes, you lash out at the messenger.
It’s typical among you people and I don’t expect more at this point.
Thanks for proving my assumption correct.

Lol. I guess not.
- Comment on “Treat Online Abuse Like Spam”: New Report Urges Social Media Platforms to Fight Online Abuse with Tools Users Can Control 1 week ago:
The problem with blocking someone is that other people can still see what that person says.
Censorship is only effective if you can stop other people from seeing the information.
It’s not good enough that a user can hide what other people are saying for themselves; they need to be able to hide it for everyone else.
That’s why you see such a crusade by a certain community to ban anyone who disagrees with their agenda. They don’t want people sharing ideas that go against their beliefs.
- Comment on Putin’s dream of a state-controlled internet is becoming a reality 1 week ago:
Yeah.
There are a lot of people who want to make it illegal to say certain things that challenge their agenda here.
It saddens me how people on the left have been convinced that freedom of speech only benefits their adversaries.

You shouldn’t have given them money in the first place.
Did you learn your lesson, or are you going to throw money at another proprietary product while thinking you’re “helping out”?

These paint chip eating overgrown children are so detached from reality it’s not even funny.
Irony.

Did you learn your lesson? I will assume not and you’re going to throw money at the next company.

Yeah, the app is predatory as fuck.
I’m just glad I’m smart enough to realize when I’m seeing predatory design and not assume it’s “how things should be.”
- Comment on Stack overflow is almost dead 1 week ago:
Most people can’t think for themselves and will say whatever makes them fit in with their peers.
- Comment on Stack overflow is almost dead 1 week ago:
I highly doubt they called you a retard.
- Comment on Stack overflow is almost dead 1 week ago:
I’ve never had an issue asking a question on stack overflow.
I’d wager a lot of ‘you people’ that have issues with it probably didn’t do enough research on your own.
- Comment on Stack overflow is almost dead 1 week ago:
That’s strange. It’s almost never my experience on stack overflow.
What you’re describing happens mostly on reddit and lemmy.
- Comment on Stack Overflow seeks rebrand as traffic continues to plummet – which is bad news for developers 1 week ago:
It is very refreshing conversing with AI about technical problems.
I notice AI pretty much always knows what I want, even if it can’t give me the correct answer on how to get there.
When asking for helping among ‘you people,’ it’s almost like pulling teeth. It genuinely feels like a lot of you can’t comprehend what you’re reading and blame users for having issues you can’t solve.
With AI, it feels more like I’m talking with a normal person than a lot of the people on the internet.

It’s not cheaper than Visible, which has unlimited data for $25/month.
Google Fi is pretty much a scam. If you want the cheapest plan with a data limit, go for Mint.
