- Comment on Home surveillance set up 3 days ago:@HereIAm I have this exact setup(homeassitant, frigate, image detection using intel igpu) and i run few other containers (jellyfin, nextcloud) with no issues so far since its for home use. Your GPU is powerful enough to handle much much more than this.
And for cameras i would suggest to check the frigate documentation where they've indicated which cameras work best. RTSP is fairly common and i use it for my cameras with no issue. - Comment on Has anyone migrated from a Markdown notes app to another? 6 days ago:@Nibodhika this looks very interesting. so I can import all my existing markdown notes and vice versa?
- Comment on Districts Event calendar 3 weeks ago:yes, hubzilla supports shareable calendars and invites.
- Comment on GitHub - gardner/LocalLanguageTool: Self-hosted LanguageTool private instance is an offline alternative to Grammarly 1 month ago:any idea about the system requirements?

- Comment on Manage things "To be Read" 1 month ago:I use firefox bookmarks with nextcloud bookmarks and floccus addon to sync them. you can choose a custom folder to syn as "Read Later" and tags are supported both in the nextcloud app and firefox bookmarks. And there is an android app for bookmarks too. I think this workflow should work as per your requirements
- Comment on I don't get the love for Nextcloud - alternative for just files? 2 months ago:Nextcloud AIO has an option to skip domain check. the github README hasinstructions. And i love nextcloud because it integrates many features in one, file sharing, office collaboration, chat, rss reader, mailbox, photos, calendar, address-book, etc.
I have two instances running, one public and one completely local. And having a domain is just convenient but not necessary. - Comment on Is it useful to create your own Mastodon instance? 2 months ago:@abeorch for family use, try something like friendica/hubzilla that provide many more features than something like mastodon which is only suitable for microblogging.
