I did a similar thing with all my sheets - run over them with super high grit (400/800) sandpaper once or twice, clean with IPA and paper towels and since then I’ve never had any issues with prints not sticking

IMO that’s not the fault of Linux per se but of the manifacturers that only provide drivers/software for Windows and then let the community figure out the rest. The end result is the same just due to a different cause.

I’ve not user Klipper in a long while, but would it not suffice if Klipper knew 'Spool has 100m Filament left, print says it takes 110m, throw an error/require user confirmation to continue '?

I’ve seen and used AI for snippets of code and it’s pretty decent at that.
With my colleagues I always compare it to a battery powered drill. It’s very powerful and can make shit a lot easier. But you’d not try to build furniture from scratch with only a battery powered drill.
