I liked the spinoff series “I like ass”. Some call it really shitty, but I disagree.

Jokes on you, my religion says you can’t do a triple backflip. I dare you to prove it wrong.

I love the game but ffs could you stop closing and relaunching all the time?
- Comment on Do you cheat in video games? 1 week ago:
Mostly singleplayer, when I feel like I’ve completed the most that the game would offer. Sometimes save cheesing/rng manipulation if I can’t get a certain thing to go my way, but not a lot.
On multiplayer, I did used to play anarchy minecraft servers (where cheats level the playing ground for everyone), but nothing that breaks that balance. Multiplayer is only fun when everyone has similar tools to you.

Cross game integration. I was recently playing Last Command B-Side, and in a certain part, the game picked stages themed around the games I have installed and it blew me away.

What company puts legal pressure on a mod this iconic, it does not make sense, it’s literally free advertising on a completely different game that cannot any revenue they make from it negatively.

Gray Wolves are a historic symbol to Turkish people. No turkish citizen is giving that away to a bunch of hypocrite arab nationalists.

- Comment on 3 weeks ago:
Grey wolves are considered as a historic symbol by Turks, similar to how a bald eagle is treated by americans or dragons to Chinese people. You can also see ultra-nationalist people of these countries use these symbols a lot, but it doesn’t change the meaning of these symbols to the majority of the country’s population.

- Comment on Japanese court orders Cloudflare to pay $3.2 million over manga piracy 3 weeks ago:
I have a big physical manga collection, but I can’t imagine paying a single cent to access manga digitally, let alone a subscription. For each one on my collection, I’ve already pirated digitally to read them. But I’d rather keep a permanent physical copy than being allowed to read it each month for a price.

Valve is in a very unique spot where employees are all paid well because of the low amount of employees they have and the massive income they generate; in their employee reviews you typically don’t really see low salary as a reason to leave.

- Comment on How likely do you think game streaming as DRM is to become a thing? 4 weeks ago:
While this likely happened on some obscure platform idea, it’s extremely unlikely to have a popular title this way, Here’s why: each instance running the game would cost seperately to the company hosting it. Sending raw stream capture data worth of tens of thousands to each user personalised per day would cost way too much.

- Comment on I am curious about hosting my own lemmy/mastodon server 5 weeks ago:
Define that you’re responsible for content originating from your instance on your legal page, and make use of fediseer to block instances that consist of illegal content in your country.
If you’re selfhosting, chances are the worst legal offending instances per your laws are already blocked by your country.

me :D
my net is painfully slow so selfhosting is not a reliable option, and it’s solely because of infrastructure of my apartment. I can’t pay more to increase my net speed, so i went with a hosting provider.

This is one conspiracy I don’t get at all. What does a billionaire get from decreasing the population in Africa using vaccines? I mean even the “turning frogs gay with chemicals” conspiracy has some basis, but this one has no grounds at all.

There are different motivations for different scene groups, but it boils down to dislike the practice of DRM for most.
Though some groups did form for simpler reasons like seeing it as a fun challange to tackle.
