Michael Phelps is a freak of nature, with an incredible wingspan and a body that produces less lactic acid than nearly every other swimmer. He was allowed to take home 28 gold medals, and was only able to do so with those genetic advantages and fucktons of work and training.
Bone structure, height, or hand size clearly do not matter to people at the highest levels, and likely matter even less when you’re playing in your high school or college soccer league.
And I mentioned the work and training aspect because without that, Phelps would be very good, but not 28-gold-medals good. You’re boiling down women’s sports to essentially hand size and genetics. Best get out the calipers to start measuring skull sizes (/s).
Can you even name 5 women athletes without looking them up? Do you really care about women if you’re trying to subject them to this scrutiny to “catch” an incredibly miniscule part of the population? Are women with PCOS or other endocrine disorders not allowed? How would you even test for this shit? You can’t even give us clear definitions of what “fair” would be.

JAQing off is not a discussion. You have your opinion. It’s based off of anecdotes, non-existent or irrelevant statistics, and vibes. If you want an actual discussion about excluding a whole group of people from competing in sports, stop spouting off shit like how big men’s hands are like you’re determining if trans women are Aryan enough to compete with their peers.
I feel like you’re a stone’s throw away from saying something like “black runners are better because of genes so we should segregate them”.

Someone sounds triggered and unable to have a discussion without a strong emotional response. So much so that they had to agree on my behalf to “end the conversation”.
Guess I was right? No offense and all those pleasantries.

I could give relative examples but I find it is pointless to waste my time as it is nearly impossible to hold intelligent, meaningful, and rationale conversations when it comes to this type of subject matter. No offense to you or anyone else intended.
Makes sense to me. I don’t think anyone with your opinions could really comprehend any biology past 3rd grade, let alone have a nuanced conversation about gender and society. No offense to you or anyone else intended.

Yep! And it’s deleted. Are you suggesting I should have kept it up?

Since calling you what you are is not allowed:
In contrast, the previous administration has shown a lack of morals, ethics, and compassion for humanity.
I cannot see how you can look at this current administration and think that this is better in any way.

Collapse of the country and purging of illegals and minorities is the same thing as school vouchers to you?

Can’t win on your single issue? Then vote to make everything worse, including the issue that you use as a cudgel to disguise your authoritarian power fantasy!
As a trans person, and I mean this to my core, go fuck yourself. Gaza will be a parking lot now because of tankies like you. It’s impossible to put pressure on our government to help Palestine if we’re busy trying to keep our own country afloat and stop new genocides and horrors within our own borders. Shame there was no “perfect option”, or whatever bullshit you’re peddling.

Get out of here, fascist. You’re what’s wrong with my country.

Great points. Also:
… AI will be great at giving people exactly what they ask for …
Honestly, I’m not even sure about this. With hallucinations and increasingly complex prompts that it fails to handle, it’s just as likely to regurgitate crap. I don’t even know if AI will get to a better state before all of this dev-firing starts to backfire and sour most company’s want to even touch AI for most development.
Humans talk with humans and do their best to come up with solutions. AI takes prompts and looks at historical human datasets to try and determine what a human would do. It’s bound to run into something novel eventually, especially if there aren’t more datasets to pull in because human-generated development solutions become scarce.
