- Comment on What's the deal with gasping? Is it an inherent reflex? Is it learned? Did I desensitize myself to the point of not gasping anymore? Do you gasp? Do certain groups of people gasp less commonly? 3 hours ago:
What made me starting thinking this was watching a lady film a boat going nuts in a marina trying to run over a guy in a seadoo and crashing into parked boats. She seems to be pretty far away from danger but keeps gasping and screaming with every hit.
You’re right about the screaming detracting from the real issue though, especially if there is already a group of witnesses and you hear blood curdling screams while someone gets knocked out and then the inevitable person running in to dribble the victim’s head to really make sure the spinal cord has separated.

So would it be more beneficial to not gasp? Or gasp less at least?

Do babies gasp? I feel like I seem them make surprised faces but not gasp, or maybe baby gasps are quieter?

I feel like people trained for emergencies/high stress situations like police, military, mma fighters, even medics are less likely to gasp whereas a defenseless 95 year old woman would be more likely to gasp.
So is gasping a bad defense mechanism or why would we want to have less of a reflexive response in tense situations?

Drinking water is exponentially easier and less time consuming than exercising

Drinking water obviously isn’t the cure for constipation, it’s to prevent constipation caused by dehydration. There are of course other causes of constipation.

Apparently he helped design the VW beetle? Which gave every kid in the world an excuse to randomly punch people!

Phew, I unapologetically enjoy some nickelback songs but I also saved a baby from drowning once so I’m good.
So would you consider Dr. Diddler alright if he helped a few kids out mentally? Or what would you think he needs to do to balance his see-saw. I heard he also doesn’t put stuff at the grocery back in the right place if he decides a few aisles over they don’t want it anymore.

I drive back in my mobile cup and enter my roofed cup
I empty an enclosed tin cup of chili into a heatable metal cup
I pour the contents of the cup into my handleless cup then grab my mini cup with a long handle and proceed to cup this chili out of the handleless cup with my long handled mini cup into my biological cup

You’ve made me reconsider my thought. Tables are upside down cups that don’t hold liquids very well.

I think you’re probably right, especially now that snorting snuff and smoking are significantly less common. Although if you put it in vape form…
