Teams? For my work laptop (win 11, dell) if I set a piece of metal on the trackpad it registers as a finger, and the Teams “recently active” icon stays green. Then the app on my phone to see if anyone messaged me while I’m out.

Just don’t forget to take the piece of metal off at the end of the day and accidentally stay “online” until 9pm…

My incredibly anecdotal experience of being a college athlete that slipped into alcohol abuse and getting out of shape for a few years, now 34… 3.5 years no alcohol, slowly getting back in the gym the past year or two. Yea, I should’ve clarified, was just throwing out a simple option if anyone hadn’t heard of that yet, it was easier than setting up openvpn or something on my router. You can also self host Headscale on your machine if you want to have more control over it.

I use tailscale for accessing my home network remotely, it was a super easy setup
