This show is going to be running at the same time as Apothecary Diaries, and it is going to need to step up its game if it doesn’t want to be seen as the lesser of the two Sherlock-esque series this season.
That is a very high bar to clear. With Apothecary Diaries airing at the same time, I have tempered my expectations of this show from the start.

Welp, here’s the first anime of the season that I will be continuing.
I dislike being kept in suspense, so I will probably binge it towards the end of the season along with The Apothecary Diaries.

It will mean more work till the process of nomination and voting get automated or simplified, but it also means a shorter turn-around time to gather feedback and improve the process (i.e. be agile)

Sakamoto Days - Heard a lot of good things about the story. Also, the premise sounds interesting and reminds me of Mr Nobody.
The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 - Will probably try to binge it; can’t stand waiting for mysteries to be resolved.
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You Season 2 - I’d reckon majority of source readers are probably most hyped to see the panel (panels? it’s a two-page spread) adapted. Personally, I’m excited to see the adaption of Meme’s zing chapter.

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time - I like the protagonist a lot. Too bad the manga doesn’t get updated frequently.
I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! - It’s your typical expelled-from-party-and-gain-harem wish-fulfillment fantasy. I enjoyed the story anyway.
The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World - It’s a battle shounen, but the story is fun enough to keep me engaged.

If you implemented the voting algorithm (STAR in this case) in the code instead of just using a library, consider using this more generalized variant of STAR; not sure if there is a name for it:
Instead of scoring candidates from 0 to 5, allow voters to give scores between ‘m’ and ‘n’, where ‘m’ and ‘n’ are integers. If the voter choose not to give a score to a candidate, assign a default score of ‘k’ where ‘k’ is an integer and ‘m <= k <= n’
For example,
m = -2 k = 0 n = 3
What I liked about STAR - that I’m unsure if ranked-choice voting methods can achieve - is how expressive a voter can be.
For example, if I like anime A way more than anime B and hence want to give A a much higher chance of winning, I can express it in my scores (e.g. by giving A a score of 3 and B a score of 0)
Another case is if I absolute detest an anime C, I would be able to give it a score of -2.
To conclude, I don’t think other commenters’ complaints are about STAR itself, just its parameters of m, n and k.
If these parameters can be properly tuned such that unvoted candidates get a middle score instead of the lowest score, that should solve this problem where they appear to be voted against.
P.S. I’m still of the opinion that these awards are just another form of popularity contest, so if a candidate doesn’t get voted for because it was barely watched by majority of the voters, that means most voters don’t really want it to win anyway.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance: Mediocre. The animation was fine but the writing was straight-up bad. This is a situation where knowing the lore actually makes it worse, too.
I watched Gundam RFV without having watched anything else from the UC timeline and thought the story was fine.
I guess the show is the way it is because of its intended audience - i.e. someone without much knowledge of Gundam, given that it aired on Netflix.

I believe the animation style in KonoSuba is intentional.
Same thing with Murai in Love.
They are not bad, just different.

Fall 2024 is probably one of the weakest season in recent times.
Here are my scores for series that I have completed:
- Dan Da Dan - 10 / 10
- Murai in Love - 10 / 10
- Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance - 9 / 10
With the exception of Re:Zero Season 3, I have dropped every other anime that I picked up this season.
